PDM announces demonstrations in Karachi on Aug 29

A meeting of the anti-government coalition PDM was chaired by senior PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal, Former premier Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, JUI-F leader Abdul Ghafoor Haideri, Hafiz Hamdullah, Hamidullah, Sikandar Sherpao, and other officials attended the meeting.

The internal and economic situation of the country was discussed in the session.

The final dates of anti-government rallies and demonstrations will be decided in the committee meeting.

The ultimate approval of committee verdicts will be given on August 28.

PTI-led government’s three-year performance was also discussed during the committee meeting.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi stated that eight parties contributed to the meeting today while addressing the journalists after the meeting.

PDM meeting will be held in Karachi on August 29.

“The PDM wants the country s affairs to be run in accordance with the constitution,” he added.

PDM is a medium that discusses the authority of the constitution in Pakistan.

He further added, “The meeting set a schedule for holding meetings and rallies in the country, which will be announced after the August 28 meeting.”

The perseverance of electronic voting machines (EVM) is to upkeep rigging in the elections.

Further adding he stated that the resolution of government democratic reorganizations is to ease the vote theft.

He also mentioned that it is a matter of autonomous electoral reforms, will show the way to decrease the difficulties of the people.

“The three-year performance of the government, its corruption and incompetence will be brought to the notice of the nation, all the facts will be collected and a white paper will be issued on the performance of the government,” Khaqan Abbasi further maintained.
