Pashtun girl from Pakistan won Taekwondo Championship by defeating British opponent

Spread the love

Heroes hail from everywhere and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan is no different in playing its role in producing some of the most talented Pakistanis.

One such example is a 9 year old Pashtun girl Ayesha Ayaz who won a gold medal in a fight against British and Kyrgyz fighters at UAE’s Fujairah Open Taekwondo Championship.

Ayesha hails from a very humble background, she does not enjoy the luxury of high-end training sessions, quality diet and other health related privileges as her counterparts in UK yet going against all the odds by winning a gold madel is praiseworthy.

Lets just hope our government focuses on such rare talents and help them secure a better life in their future.
