Nationalist Socialist Council Of Nagalim – Khaplang (NSCN-K), a popular political party of Nagas that strive for independent Nagaland condemned recent terror attack in Pakistan’s southwestern province of Balochistan which killed six Pakistani paramilitary soldiers including one major ranked officer.
NSCN-Khaplang spokesperson Isak Sumi said in a statement that Republic of Nagaland believes in a terror free South Asia. People of Nagaland seek peace and friendly relations with people of Pakistan and acknowledge Pakistan’s morale support for the cause of Independent Nagaland.
Isak Sumi stated that an Indian Major Gaurav Arya openly announced a terror strike in Balochistan on a national television, two days before the attack and called the international community to hold India responsible for the killing of innocents in its neighboring country and ultimately putting peace in the region at risk.
Isak Sumi also assured people of Pakistan that Nagas would respond on behalf of Pakistan and teach India a lesson it understands.
“Our freedom fighters are well trained to respond to the Indian designs in the region, we assure people of Pakistan that we shall avenge this act with more power”
It was for the first time any Naga national leader has openly addressed Pakistan.
