The positivity rate of the virus in Lahore has reached close to 11%, while in Bahawalpur about 9%, in Rawalpindi 8% and in Multan 7%.
In Karachi, the positivity rate of Coronavirus has risen to 16%, while in Hyderabad it has increased to 13% and in overall Sindh province, it has expanded to about 4%.
A further 75 deaths have been reported across the country, with 3,842 cases reported in a single day and a more than 7% positivity rate
Markets and bazaars in Sindh will remain closed today under Safe Day to prevent the spread of Coronavirus, while grocery stores will remain open.

He added that vaccination of all teachers would be completed by next week.
The Sindh Education Minister said that the decision regarding schools would be taken after a week’s review. He appealed to the parents to get their vaccines shots so that the children would be safe.
The Sindh government on Friday announced to close schools for another week and resume classes from August 30.
